I have a problem. I adore a clean house, but I really do not care much for cleaning. I do it because I have to, but it is not one of my favorite things. My husband feels the same way so that puts us in a pickle when it comes to keeping things clean. I find that I dread the task a little less when I have glorious smelling, natural products to use. Vinegar is a great natural cleaner, but it stinks and it burns my nose hairs. It is, however, dirt cheap and perfect for when you are pinching those pennies to pay off debt (nose hairs will grow back- pay off the credit cards!). When you are in a place to spend a tad bit more or if the vinegar smell is a little too much for you, this company is the solution. The best part about it is that the products are delivered right to my door (and we all know how much I love online shopping!*). Allow me to introduce you to another of my favorite money saving websites: Grove Collaborative*.
Grove Collaborative has a wide variety of natural cleaning, personal, and household products and the prices are usually better than you would find in the store. They will schedule orders monthly, but you can push that date out to whenever you want and customize the next order (or delete all items) as needed. They will always send you a reminder email before orders ship so that you can cancel or reschedule without any surprises. As with all purchases, I recommend waiting to buy when they feature specials or reduce items further for sales. The Earth Day sale this year was FANTASTIC! Also, Grove Collaborative occasionally sends you lovely emails with free items when your next order is $20 or more.
Here are a few of my favorite things:
The Eucalyptus+Spearmint scented candle = delightful. The smell is peaceful and the candle burns for 70+ hours. These go further on sale sometimes and are also sold for a lower unit price in the three-pack.
This Concentrated Caldrea All-purpose Cleaner smells luxurious like a spa and, because it’s a concentrate, it is basically going to last me the rest of my life.
This Seventh Generation toilet bowl cleaner is another of those products that will last a lifetime. I keep using it, but it requires so little to clean that the bottle never gets any lighter. It’s a gel so it adheres to the sides of the bowl and practically does the cleaning for you. Practically. You still have to swish it around a little because there’s no such thing as magic.
So far, I have loved every product I have ordered. Sign up here, and you will receive $10 credit to start shopping. Then when you find out about last minute guests, you can run through your house spritzing your cleaner and they will think you keep a spotless, fresh-smelling home. Not that I have ever done that. You will also get your own referral link to share with friends so that they can get $10 credit, too. Feel free to teach them about our spritzing trick. What are your favorite natural cleaning products?
